Mcreator procedure tutorial4/30/2024 I do compatibilities with other mods lately, so it's pretty actual topic for me, and I can help with some features/workarounds. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask or DM me. The correct tag for Forge should be "forge:name_of_tag". Of course you should replace "provided itemstack" selector to another - if your procedure use GUI slots, then it should be that one. You need to simply find " Is provided itemstack tagged in item tags as". Therefore, you can use Tags in procedures - both the one made by you from mod/vanilla items and from other mods (so, Library mods too). You can expand it easily by just copy-pasting - all you need to remember is to follow correct. Simply replace them with IDs you want to have there. Make your tag exactly like you envision it, and put placeholder items in it (can be 2-3). Tags using items outside of your mod/vanilla Then just simply replace placeholders by correct ID (name_of_mod:name_of_item).Ģ. You can either use tag (forge:X) for it, or insert placeholder block and edit code of. Have you ever wanted to make a baby version of an animal, or you just made a really tiny mob Well, this tutorial may or may not be for you All you have to do is go into the model file, and where it says 'new CubeDeformation(0.0F)', you change '(0.0F)' to say, '(1.5F)'.This works for negative numbers, too like -0.5, giving you a smaller model. Recipes for items outside of your mod/vanilla I realised that recently, maybe I should do tutorial, since a lot of people can benefit from it. Second of all, you can use everything in both procedures in recipes. Also I never used slashes, so in case something isn't working, you can replace them with underscores. Last section should be the answer you look for, everything between is just my blabber which you can find useful in some situations, since you work on two modspaces.įirst of all, I'd suggest you naming tags with less generic names - for example using "pyro_lib/tin" is better than "ingots/tin". Unsure if this image will show, but it's what I see when I attempt to edit the procedure.Everything in that regard is possible, but not everything is easy. If anyone has a solution to this highly frustrating issue, please inform me. I believe there are two other topics with this issue, but they are both from older versions of MCreator and/or the answers other people have given to those modders doesn't seem to help me on this version of MCreator. I have tested it in-game and it works completely fine, I just currently can't edit it. I have tried restarting MCreator and when that didn't work I tried restarting my computer aswell as trying "Regenerate code and build", however none of those options seemed to do anything. Right clicking on the blank screen still brings up the undo and redo options aswell as "Clean up Blocks", "Collapse Blocks", "Expand Blocks", and "Delete 274 Blocks", but none of them really do anything noticable. I've experienced this issue in the past and I believe I managed to fix it, but I haven't used MCreator in a while so the answer escapes my memory. It lets me add new blocks to the procedure but when I click save and then reopen it, it still shows a blank screen with the block I just put there not existing either. The only thing that shows is a small blue button with a gear icon, and when I click it a giant white rectangle appears and does nothing. I created a moderately large procedure (about 260 blocks) and I need to edit and fix a specific part of it in order to make it function the way I want it, however when I come back to try and edit it, it just shows a blank screen with none of the blocks in my procedure shown on my screen. NOTE: I use an outdated version of MCreator (2020.2) since my mod is specifically for 1.12.2
